Donation Event for ED-05

Dear honored donors,

Let us share the great news that we collected 8085 SGD and 700,000 Kyats (total 5,744,800 Kyats) to assist injured victims and left-behind family members of killed victims caused by the massive explosion and fire that occurred early 29th December, 2011 at Myanmar’s commercial hub in Mingalar Taung Nyunt Township, Yangon.

On 17-January-2012, donations on behalf of ODF Myanmar donors have made by Ma Hana San and Ma Sanda Hlaing by contributing 520,000 Kyats each to left-behind families of the five firefighters who gave their lives in the line of duty, 200,000 Kyats to the injured fire captain and 1,000,000 Kyats to the injured firefighters. The total donated amount is 3,800,000 Kyats.

Please be informed that we have saved the rest of the collected donations in the bank as an emergency fund.

Therefore, we would like to send our warmest thanks to our honorable donors around the world who made generous contributions, our friends and other thankworthy persons who helped around in giving necessary aids to left-behind family members of firefighters and victims who were killed by the explosion and fire.

၂၀၁၁-ဒီဇင္ဘာ-၂၉ နံနက္အေစာပိုုင္းက ရန္ကုုန္ျမိဳ႕  မဂၤလာေတာင္ညြန္႕ၿမိဳ႕နယ္ ကူးတို႔ဆိပ္ရပ္ကြက္ရွိ ဂိုေထာင္မ်ားတြင္ ေပါက္ကြဲမႈမ်ားႏွင့္ မီးေလာင္ကၽြမ္းမႈမ်ားေၾကာင့္ ဒဏ္ရာရရွိသူမ်ားႏွင့္ အသက္ဆံုုးရံႈးသူမ်ားအား ကူညီေထာက္ပံ႔မႈမ်ား ျပဳလုပ္ရန္ အလွဴေကာက္ခံခဲ႔ရာ စကၤာပူေဒၚလာ ၈၀၈၅ ေဒၚလာ ႏွင့္ ၿမန္မာက်ပ္ေငြ ၇ သိန္း (စုစုေပါင္း ၅၇၄၄၈၀၀ က်ပ္) အား လက္ခံရရွိခဲ႔ပါတယ္။

တာဝန္ခ်ိန္အတြင္း အသက္စြန္႔သြားေသာ မီးသတ္ရဲေဘာ္ ၅ ဦး၏ အိမ္ေထာင္စု ၅စုအတြက္ တစ္အိမ္ေထာင္ကို ၅ သိန္း ၂ ေသာင္းက်ပ္စီ ၊ ဒဏ္ရာရ မီးသတ္ရဲမႈးႀကီးအတြက္ ၂ သိန္း ၊ ဒဏ္ရာရ မီးသတ္ရဲေဘာ္မ်ားအတြက္  ၁၀ သိန္း (စုစုေပါင္း ၃၈ သိန္း) အား  ODF Myanmar အလွဴရွင္အားလံုး ကိုယ္စား မဟနစံႏွင့္ မစႏၵာလိႈင္တို႔မွ ဇန္နဝါရီလ ၁၇ ရက္ေန႔တြင္ လွဴဒါန္းခဲ႔ပါတယ္။  က်န္ရွိသည့္ ေငြမ်ားကို ေနာင္တြင္ အေရးေပၚအကူအညီမ်ားအတြက္ ကူညီႏိုင္ရန္ ဘဏ္တြင္အပ္ႏွံထားပါတယ္။

ယခုလို မီးေဘးေၾကာင့္အသက္ဆံုုးရွဳံးသြားေသာ မီးသတ္တပ္ဖြဲ႕ဝင္မ်ားႏွင့္ ျပည္သူမ်ား၏ မိသားစုုဝင္မ်ားအတြက္ လိုအပ္ေသာ ေထာက္ပံ့မႈမ်ားကို ကူညီႏိုင္မႈအတြက္ ကမာၻအရပ္ရပ္မွ အလွဴရွင္မ်ား၊ အစစအရာရာကူညီေပးၾကေသာ မိတ္ေဆြမ်ား ႏွင့္ ေက်းဇူးတင္ထိုက္သူအားလံုးကို အထူးေက်းဇူးတင္ရွိပါတယ္။
